Nikolaus Gosselk

Founder

Nikolaus Gosselk is an experienced skipper and is currently training for the RYA Yachtmaster certificate. He has 35 years of sailing experience across the Baltic Sea, North Sea, Irish Sea, Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea.  With a long-time enthusiasm for sailing, he created Yacht Point Service to support fellow sailors sharing his passion.

He takes great pride in delivering reliable and timely service.  Nikolaus is supported by a network of experienced crew, engineers and support staff that share his commitment to high quality and timeliness.

Martin Ziacek

Skipper (RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Ocean Sail & Power)

From racing across the North Sea, to cruising along the warm shores of North Africa and the Mediterranean, Martin has been sailing since 1999, as a charter, survey, and racing skipper.

Darren Thompson

Skipper (Yacht Master Offshore and Dive Master)

Darren has seven Atlantic crossings under his belt as well as passages up the Eastern Seaboard of the USA, Bermuda and South America. He gained extensive experience in the Caribbean and Western Mediterranean.

Marius Dumescu

Skipper (RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Offshore with Commerical Endorsement)

Marius has extensive experience skippering in territories including UK, France, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Italy, Croatia, Cyprus. He speaks fluent Italian, Spanish, English and Romanian and is a qualified scuba diving instructor.

Darren Barklie

Marketing, Web Design & Communication

Darren helped conceptualise YPS and delivered company branding, tech and marketing. He enjoys a ‘digital nomad’ lifestyle, working from the Isle of Man, London, New York City and Ho Chi Minh City in the past five years.
